The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

They can be found in chests and crates or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a standard item.
