At the end of last year, I went to a Baccarat boutique.

However,

Baccarat has not been able to get a lot of products due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and coupled with the increased demand for drinking at home, all of its products are in short supply worldwide.

Looking for a cat... was more difficult than I expected.

All Baccarat's Lucky Cats are made by hand by artisans, so there are considerable individual differences, and each cat's expression is unique and cute.

There are cats with round eyes, cats with smiling mouths, and some with a slightly... scheming face? There were some cats that were not very cute.

They were all very cute and charming.

It was also fun to find the cat that we liked.

So,

The store was kind enough to bring out all the cats in stock so that we could choose.

The cats lined up in a row in the boutique like an audition.

The destined cat was sitting in front of the store.

A red octogon, which is always attached to a Baccarat chandelier, gives a glamorous impression.

By the way, it is said that a cat with its right hand (right paw?) raised will bring good luck and fortune, and a cat with its left hand raised will bring people and customers.

And so, the cute lucky cat came to my home.

There is also a Baccarat cushion just for lucky cats.

I'm already feeling like a doting parent.

It looks lonely by itself, so I want a friend after all.
