Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or rings. The item is swapped for another similar one, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted won't get compensated.

The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common Best item upgrader, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next success result is repeated. This lets you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a full description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank account. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. There are a variety of methods to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that particular area. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item upgrader kit at the same time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item upgrader Kit to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Once players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will not be available to it. Likewise, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade items track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Items upgrades enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade items an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further enhance the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Some items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but more for the fact that it lets players get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
