They're easy to open and close, but I found their plastic textured coatings to be a bit hard on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator is equipped with a complete set of features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range that includes Wi-Fi as well as app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and lets you manage your refrigerator from anywhere in the globe. It also has many options for customization. It also sends you notifications when doors are left open, when your fridge or freezer is in need of defrosting, and when it's time to change the filter.

It is nice if GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill, an option that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allows users to set the number of cups they would like to disperse. It does offer a countdown feature on the display of the fridge to show how much water you have left, but it's not as helpful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. The ice maker we tested was one of the most efficient, and it produces pyramid shaped ice using minimal water. This refrigerator is ideal for a single household or kitchenette that needs an attractive design and top of the best food preservation.

This refrigerator was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never fluctuated by more than a fraction, this is essential to avoid freezer burn. The refrigerator section of the fridge also did well. It reached the initial temperature within an hour and remained at the temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch has a reputation for high-end appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and Bosch's Home Connect platform. The app allows you to monitor and control the refrigerator remotely using your smartphone or tablet. The refrigerator is expensive, however it has excellent features and functionality for the price.

It is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the fridge. It has a limited space for shelves, so you may require some creativity when it comes to storing large items. Also the shelves aren't sprillproof and can be easily damaged or stained by sharp objects. The trays can be easily removed from the fridge. However, they must be cleaned regularly to prevent the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs plenty of storage space into a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge features a standard french door fridge with non plumbed ice & water dispenser door design, and two rows of shelves that can be used to capture spills and a set of crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right side can be folded to provide more space for tall items. You'll also find a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best aspects of this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it easy to move frozen ice to the fridge for use when needed. The freezer also features thoughtful design features, such as sliding drawers that allow you to organize your items. It also has a large bin that holds plenty of frozen food items and a separate storage bin for ice.

Smart InstaView panel is another awesome feature of the refrigerator. You can manage the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a great way to control and monitor your refrigerator, especially when you're away from home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't improve the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill food in this refrigerator than other refrigerators we tried. This is probably due to its bigger capacity.

The doors pose a problem with this fridge. The handles with a sunken design allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However, taller people still have a hard time closing them without slamming. It would have been better to have front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is a great choice for those who want to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a great layout. It's also a little cheaper than the top counter-depth refrigerator that has an ice maker, which helps make it a desirable choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth french door non plumbed fridge Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option for those looking for a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a basic design that isn't as striking visually as some of the competition but it does have enough features to make it a solid pick. Its most important feature is the adjustable temperature drawer which helps keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a large ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

Another great feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. The drawer lets you redirect the majority of the refrigerator's cooling power into this area, so that you can keep food items which need extra attention. This feature can be adjusted using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've found that the general settings are more effective than the specific ones.

During my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across all areas of the fridge. Temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary much from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a solid performance but doesn't quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to an intelligent thermometer to get more precise readings of your fridge's internal temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It does an excellent job of preventing streaks and fingerprints from appearing even when compared to the shiny stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
