You can alter the shelves in both compartments to make an individual storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is also attractive. The LED lighting is a nice accent. The in-door storage bins include a third shelf that can be folded down to store large items. The drawers have temperature controls so that you can set them to Beverage, Meat, or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to open and shut however I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator is equipped with a full suite of features you'd expect from a fridge in this price range that includes Wi-Fi as well as app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in world, and has a ton of customization options. It also sends you notifications when the door is unlocked and when the fridge or freezer must be defrosted and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS came with Precise Fill which is an option that is available in a few other GE fridges that allows you to choose how many cups of water you'd like to pour out at once. The fridge displays a countdown timer to show you how much water remains however it's not as effective as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Created to appear as a seamless element of your kitchen Bosch's French-door refrigerator looks seamless and is one of a kind. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that helps keep vegetables and fruits fresher longer and has dual compressors for maximum preservation of food. The ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and makes pyramid shaped ice using minimal water. This refrigerator is ideal for a small household or a kitchenette with a built-in appearance and top-of-the line food preservation.

The fridge was rated the best refrigerator in our Refrigerators test, for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained stable at just a few degrees Fahrenheit, never moving more than a fraction one degree. This is crucial to avoiding freezer burn. The fridge section of the refrigerator also did well. It reached the initial temperature set within a matter of hours, and maintained the temperature throughout our tests.

Bosch has a reputation for high-end appliances which is why it's no surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi as well as Bosch's Home Connect platform. The app lets you monitor and manage your fridge remotely using your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive, but it offers excellent features and functionality for the price.

It is important to know the limitations of your fridge. You might need to be creative with tall objects because the fridge has a limited shelf space. Additionally the shelves aren't sprillproof and can be easily stained or damaged by sharp objects. The trays are easily removed from the refrigerator. However, they must be cleaned regularly to prevent the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is a top counter-depth refrigerator that packs plenty of storage in a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the refrigerator has an ordinary french door fridge no plumbing-door design with gallon-sized door bins at each door and two rows of spill-capture shelves and a set of more spacious drawers. The top shelf to the right can be folded in order to create more space for taller items. There's also a full-width drawer to store products from the deli and an inside water dispenser.

One of the nice features of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is inside the freezer, which makes it easy to transfer frozen ice to the fridge for use when needed. The freezer also has innovative design features such as sliding drawers that can help you sort your things. It comes with a large bin for storing frozen food, and a separate container for ice.

Another awesome feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. It allows you to manage the refrigerator's temperature and lighting using your smartphone. It's a simple way to monitor your refrigerator and manage it, especially when you're away from home.

But while the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't improve the overall performance of the refrigerator. The fridge took a bit longer to defrost food and chill it than other models we tried. This is likely due to the greater capacity.

The doors are another problem with this refrigerator. The handles with a sunken design allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However taller people will have a difficult time closing them without slamming them. It would have been better if they came with a front-mounted handle.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those who want to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with a more efficient design. Its capacity is above average for counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also less expensive than the top counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which can make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door refrigerator that won't cost you a fortune this Frigidaire is a solid option. It has a simple design that isn't as striking in appearance as some of the competition but it does have enough features to make it a solid pick. Its main characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer, which helps keep foods like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water and ice maker dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which sits above the two crisper bins, is a nice feature. This drawer lets you use some of the fridge's cooling power to this area, so that you can keep food items that require extra attention. You can adjust this feature by using the slider located on the in the middle of the drawer. You can also alter the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the generic settings are more effective than the specific ones.

In my tests, I found that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator did not differ much from 38 degrees. This is a great performance, but it doesn't quite make it into the top ten in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also combine this fridge with an intelligent thermometer to get more precise measurements of your fridge's internal temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of gray-bodied stainless with a "smudge resistant" finish. It blocks streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
