First thing in the morning, Mr. K came to the shop with his 2003 Dyna.
It's been a long time since we last saw him.
He consulted us about processing the muffler stays and made a reservation for an inspection early next year.
After that,
Preparing for the inspection tomorrow and the day after.
Here's what I have planned for tomorrow.
For some reason, there are parts that are often out of contact just before the inspection.
I'm sure there are many mechanics who feel the same way.
Replaced with a new one and fitted a protective cover.
I checked everything else and there seem to be no problems, so I'm done with this one.
It's a really nice bike.
It has such a good aura that I would want it myself if I had the time.
It feels good to ride and I've serviced the suspension, so it feels good (^o^)
For now, I'll try to run it once the inspection is over.
It's been a stationary car for almost 20 years, so I want to run it and get the pus out.
I've finished preparing for the inspection of another Dyna Low Rider, so I'm planning to bring it in for maintenance the day after tomorrow.
I also received the parts for the seat post of the 48 Panhead, so I'll go with the remaining time. It looks like we can get to that point, so let's get started.
It's gotten really cold, isn't it?
I'm wearing a thin down vest (lol)
The spring spacer didn't go in easily, so I modified it.
I chose the heavy duty version to prevent bottoming out, so it might be a little hard?
Thinking like that,
Since the owner is a big guy, I set the tension to the highest and lowered the installation itself.
It feels good to straddle.
I also brought in the support spring for my buddy and installed it during the vehicle inspection.
It was deformed, so it took a while to install, but it was installed successfully.
The seat was also shaking, so I replaced the T-bar bushing with a new one.
I decided the direction and replaced it with the original one while removing and replacing it.
I checked the movement through the grease.
It looks good (^o^)
Adjusting the movement of the slot cable.
I changed the handling from here and cut the coating.
It seems to move well, so I think I can finish by cleaning around the spiral and replacing the grease.
Please wait a while until it's finished m(_ _)m
