What Is Item Upgrade And Why Is Everyone Speakin' About It?

Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item upgrading and any wasted resources won't get compensated.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on an item for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can roll their equipment in three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To make them, you need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next success result is repeated. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them.
